Chris was the founder of The Strategic Directions Group and is currently the Managing Director. Chris has over 25 years experience in the ICT sector, involved in both government and the commercial sector.

Strategic Directions are ICT Master Planners and Strategists, founded in December 2003 and has quickly established itself as a supplier of top-shelf ICT management, data centre, telecommunications, and specialist project management services.

Prior to starting Strategic Directions, Chris was the Manager for Corporate Technology Solutions at Gold Coast City Council, the second largest local authority in Australia. In this role, Chris was responsible for ICT strategy, information management, telecommunications, and technology within Council. During this time, Chris was also the founding chairman of the South East Queensland Regional Organisation of Councils (SEQROC) Chief Information Officers Networking Group, and also participated in several ICT industry forums.

Prior to working at Gold Coast City Council, Chris worked predominantly in ICT management, starting out in systems development, then having various roles including project director for a major national project, and ICT management and strategy roles in both Australia and the England.
