Martin has had over 15 years of experience in the workforce in a range of roles including engineering, project management, asset management, sales and marketing. He has a degree in electrical engineering and aims to complete an MBA this year. Martin joined Siemens in 1997 as a protection and control engineer for the Power Transmission and Distribution division from the electricity utility industry to which he returned for 1 year in 2003/4.
Over the last 4 years, Martin has been working in the field of marketing, moving into a company-wide marketing process implementation role prior to his current appointment as Executive Manager Marketing with the Building Technologies division. Recent career highlights have included introduction of a standardised professional approach to marketing across Siemens Pacific Cluster and contribution toward the development and execution of a turnaround strategy for the Building Technologies division.
