Dhiraj Lal is Country Manager for the BCM Institute, responsible for its operations in India and the Middle East. The BCM Institute is an organization dedicated to providing High-Quality Consulting, Training, Certification and Assurance Services in the domain of Business Continuity Management.
Mr. Lal is also Asia’s first BSI approved BCM technical expert for the BS 25999 standard, and is also a BS25999 assessor. He consults in implementation of BCM and BS25999, and also teaches the advanced level certification workshops in BCM and BS25999. He has also been invited by BSI to participate in the audits of 2 of the first 10 organizations in the world to be awarded the BS25999 certification. While has been involved in BCM as a User, Auditor and Implementer since the last 10 years, Mr. Lal has been Consulting and Training in BCM on a full time basis since 2006.
Given his educational background (Bachelors in Chemical Engineering, Postgraduate in Business Administration) and varied work experience (20 years+ in Consulting, Operations, Management and Banking), Mr. Lal has been able to take on assignments in diverse industries and geographies, some examples of which are:

Other than consulting assignments, which perforce include an element of training and certification, Mr. Lal has on a standalone basis trained/addressed over 25000 professionals in the last 3 years, since he took on BCM as his full-time passion.
