Steven Howell is the CEO of Technology Connection, a company that is a leader in custom Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling of data center airflow, providing energy-saving solutions to today's complex data center energy management issues.
Steven has over 32 years of experience in solving data center challenges and providing energy management solutions. His recent projects include: CFD modeling and design using VSD technology; design of an airflow solution for a major hospital data center resulting in significant energy savings; and design of a data center airflow solution that improved CRAC unit capacity by 30 percent.
Steven holds certifications in Airflow Design and Management. He has completed course work from the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) as a certified storage professional. Steven is an active member of 'The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers' (ASHRAE), a globally recognized professional body with a mission to advance technology to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world.
